This colourful, short booklet explains to neighbours and other members of the community what might be going on when some unruly, noisy children move into the neighbourhood, or the new boy next door is sullen and rude when you speak to him, or maybe the girl in the next street disrupts lessons at your children's school, or argues or fights at your local youth club.

Children who are adopted or fostered and children who are seeking asylum may not seem to have much in common - but all are trying to survive things that happened to them in the past.
