Marion Hundleby has been a qualified social worker for over 25 years. She has provided consultancy to agencies in both the statutory and voluntary sectors, and for the past nine years she has worked for Catholic Children's Services, Nottingham, specialising in post-placement work and providing consultancy for two government-funded projects. She is co-author of Adoption: Theory, policy and practice (Cassell, 1997).
