If you are adopted (2006)

Provides answers to some of the questions adopted children ask including: how can I find out about my origins? Is it a good idea to trace my birth parents? Also discusses some of the resulting feelings which may emerge. £1.00 plus 40p Postage and packing.

 

Private fostering England and Wales (2008)

This Advice Note is written for people considering becoming private foster carers, and provides guidance on what prospective carers need to know and do. The 2008 edition has been completely rewritten and expanded, and contains sections on the responsibilities of private foster carers, birth parents, and social services in such arrangements.
