Bags of glamour

Bag Ladies 2008 took place on 1 July at Marsh Insurance. BAAF welcomed 120 women who were keen to support us at this glamorous event.

Guests sipped champagne and were treated to fantastic views of the Thames and Tower Bridge. The silent auction featured eight bags, including donations from Anya Hindmarch and Smythson. There was also an amazing raffle with 16 bags on offer, including Radley, LK Bennett and Jimmy Choo. Lively music was provided by talented guitarist Martin Byatt, and our guest speaker, actor and presenter Clare Grogan, shared her personal experience of being an adoptive mum. The event raised a fantastic £9,000 for BAAF, doubling that raised at Bag Ladies 2007.
