“Setting the Agenda” - BAAF’s Strategic Statement 2015

I am delighted to announce the publication of BAAF’s strategy for 2015 and would like to thank our members for their feedback which has helped shape our thinking. We have four key strategic aims:-

  • To champion the vital importance for every child of establishing a “family for life” in the most appropriate setting
  • To influence government policy on child placement by sustaining and developing a “critical friend” relationship with governments across the four UK countries
  • To provide leadership across the child placement sector in all four countries, being proactive in developing innovative policy and practice
  • To partner with other organisations and agencies in the UK and internationally, to ensure that best use is made of common resources to achieve mutually agreed aims
